In college, I also had a church community I was a part of, so I looked for something similar for my time here. Through searching for and taking part in this community here, I have gotten to know many Spaniards as well as others who have moved to Ourense from all over the world. After being involved in music groups while growing up, I am also enjoying bagpipe lessons, as well as jamming with some friends who also love to play music and sing.
This first month has really flown by and I've been told that June and my plane back to the States will be here before I know it. For now, I want to dive even deeper into my new city and I can't wait to see all that I will learn and experience this year in Ourense, Spain, and Europe.
