I asked many fishermen around town what they suggested I do to catch it, and I received a lot of help. One day, I was running around my city of residence when I saw a flock of birds hitting the water, a good sign that fish are around. I even saw fish hitting the surface of the water and knew that I had seen the elusive sierra. I returned the next day at the same time with my fishing gear and hoped to finally catch a sierra. On my first cast, I felt a tug on the other end of the line and I couldn't believe that I was hooked up to a sierra. The fish was absolutely beautiful, and I took it home for dinner.
Fishing around Tenerife has allowed me to enjoy the beauty of the island. I have also been able to explore many remote parts of the island that I would not have been able to explore otherwise. It's a great way to get outdoors and enjoy our beautiful planet!
