Those are very popular names. Eduard and any other names of saints are popular here (Paul, for example) for religious reasons. 

What subjects do you study in school, and which one is your favorite?:

English, French, math, biology, physics and German. Most of the students said English is their favorite, but I teach them English, so I think they were trying to win some "brownie points."

What is your homework like?:

“Boring.” Well...that was all they had to say. The students do not like homework much. Most people don’t. 

What do you like to do after school? Do you have a favorite sport or game?:

“Hang out with friends.” The students give this as a response when I ask them what their hobbies are. I think some of them have turned meeting up with friends into a sort of extreme sport because they are always with their friends.

Who is your favorite famous person?:

Lionel Messi and Christiano Ronaldo were the first two people the students mentioned. They love soccer. 

What kinds of music do you listen to?:

The two most popular genres were pop and German rap. The students know the songs that play on the radio in America because they are often played by the German radio stations too. 

What would you like to be when you grow up?:

None of the students have really decided what they want to be yet, but they also have plenty of time.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?:

America! Most said they want to see New York and Times Square.
