Welcome to Mongolia!

I was born and raised in the town of Bryn Athyn, Pennsylvania—just a few miles from Philadelphia, or as we call it, Philly. I also went to college in Philly, to Temple University. Temple is a very large school with students from many different countries and cultures, and I got to work and become friends with people from all over the world. I even got to study abroad in both Japan and Russia. I majored in the Russian language, and also studied history, theater, and music.

In college, I realized I have a passion for learning about the cultures of both Asia and Russia, and that I also love learning languages and teaching English. I decided to apply for a scholarship, called a Fulbright, so that I could teach English in another country and pursue these passions. I was so excited to get this scholarship, and could not be happier that I am in Mongolia, despite the cold. I cannot wait to share my adventures and experiences in this beautiful and fascinating country with you. For now, daraa ulzii (see you later!)
