My favorite part about this program is being on the job in my hotel. I like interacting with customers and helping guests more than I like going to formal school. I do both though because I know they are equally important.
I have online assignments to do for the mentor at the hotel. They are about the different departments in the hotel: service, front desk and housekeeping, or back of house. For English, I complete summary assignments each week for Mackenzie to check. For Dutch and Spanish we have similar worksheets to complete and studying to do for exams.
After school, I play field hockey (yes, boys do play field hockey in the Netherlands, not just girls). Other than that, I like to hang with friends, watch Netflix and eat.
Johan Cruijff was and is my favorite famous person. He was a famous football (American soccer) coach and player. He died a few years back, but we have a football arena named after him here in Amsterdam now.
I like to listen to rap music, mostly American artists, but I really like Lil' Kleine, who is a Dutch rap artist. "Kleine" means "tiny", so technically his name is Little Tiny (haha).
