I've been lucky to travel all over the United States. I often visit my big brother, who lives in our country's capital city, Washington D.C. He takes me on tours of important buildings like the Capitol and Senate. While he's working, I love going to cool places such as the Natural History Museum and the National Postal Museum. I also walk around to see the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial. It's fun to learn about our country's history to understand better how we live today.
During this past summer, I had a job with a photography company called Action Shots Photography. We got to go to many places, including Florida, Maryland, Nevada, Texas, and Ohio. I enjoyed trying new foods, meeting different people and seeing nature. The best part was when we visited Lake Tahoe, which is like a beach with snowy mountains all around.
I've encountered my favorite weather in southern California, when I visited cities such as San Francisco and Los Angeles with my dad. We felt the cool ocean breeze, and the weather was always sunny and nice. My family loves going to Michigan in the summer because we can swim in chilly water and go on fun hikes in the forest.
Now, I'm in Costa Rica, a place where it rains every afternoon. I live in a big valley in San Jose, Costa Rica. It's the capital city and it's right in the middle of Costa Rica. So far, I've been to a volcano, the Caribbean coast and the Pacific coast.
