I am working with two of my classmates to design a vertical garden and community compost bin. I have added some pictures of my trip to two organic farms this past weekend so that you can see what we are up to!
Migration, Globalization, and Social Change:
This class is led by a lawyer from Iran who now practices immigration law in Costa Rica. We explore big questions about freedom, human rights, equity and liberty. His perspective is fascinating, and it makes us think about the world in new ways.
It is important to be open about learning where people come from. We find unity and our similarities and beauty in our differences. I am learning a lot from the students in my classes as well as from my diverse group of professors!
