Hello, third graders!
I'm absolutely thrilled to meet all of you virtually this November. In the meantime, I'll be sharing some journal entries with you to keep you updated about myself. I was born and raised in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and I'm currently in my last year of college.
Growing up, I was surrounded by agriculture, just like many of you. On my family's farm, we had chickens, beef cattle, dogs, sheep and lots of different crops. There's a beautiful creek on our farm where I love to fish, go kayaking and ride my four-wheeler. I heard from Ms. DeHart that many of you also enjoy riding on your ATVs and four-wheelers. That's so cool!
Apart from spending time outdoors and with animals, I was quite active in sports. I did cross-country running, played tennis, lacrosse, and even tried diving. I have an older brother who works in Washington D.C. Whenever I visit him, I get to explore museums and the National Mall while he's at work. It's always a fun adventure.
My younger brother is in college in Nashville, Tennessee, and I have a younger sister who's still in high school in Bowling Green. Our family loves getting together for Sunday dinners. Sometimes, we gather at our farm in Glasgow, Kentucky, and other times, we visit my uncle's horse farm in White House, Tennessee.
