A Day in My Life

After French class, I go home to eat and or take a nap, or I stay around SGW to get lunch by myself or with my friends and get some work done. Then, I commute to Loyola by the options I mentioned above or by taking the school shuttle which goes directly from one campus to the other and is only for students. I attend my microbiology class and then I go to the gym for one or two hours. Once I get home, I eat dinner, sometimes study, read a book, or get lost watching TikTok before getting ready for bed. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, my days start a little later, between 8 to 9 a.m., and my commute is either a five to eight minute bus ride (Bus 51) or a 15 to 20 minute walk to the Loyola Campus. On Tuesdays, if I have a lab, I stay on campus, eating lunch and reading the lab material before I go in. Once I am done with the lab, I go to the gym, head home, and repeat my nighttime routine. If I don’t have a lab, I head home and complete the lab homework that is due. My Thursdays vary.  Sometimes I go back home, take a nap, and then go to the gym, or I do other productive tasks such as grocery shopping or meal prepping.

On Monday, October 16, when I was writing this post, I happened to miss Bus 66, so I had to take Bus 51 and metro lines green and orange. I had a meeting at 12 p.m., so I stayed around SGW and finally ate an açaí bowl at a little cafe I had been wanting to visit! I also took the shuttle for the second time to save some commuting time, and it only took 15 minutes to get from SGW to Loyola! After attending the lecture, I went home to change into gym clothes and then walked to the gym to warm up before working out. Once I got home, I ate dinner, studied for an upcoming test, and then went to bed!
