The Amazon Rainforest

For example, things get moldy very easily in this climate. Another issue people face in this environment is mosquito-borne illnesses, such as Zika and Dengue and Malaria. Because mosquitoes are so prominent in humid regions, these diseases can be hard to control in this environment.

How have people been adapting to this environment?:

People have learned to live off of the jungle, using plants, animals, and natural medicines to survive. Also, they have learned to live with the weather. To deal with the rain, they have built irrigation systems. To deal with rising river levels during the rainy season, people who live near the river build their houses on "stilts" to prevent flooding. People's bodies also adapt to the heat after a while. Of course, it is still important to stay hydrated in this climate.
