A Parisian by choice...

This year, I'm planning on starting fitness classes that the university offers, as I want to take advantage of these offerings.

What language(s) do you speak? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

I speak three languages: Spanish (my mother language), English, and French, which I learned in school. I am completing a double degree, Law and Translation, because I love languages and enjoy learning new ones. To say "hello" in Spanish is "hola", and in French it is "bonjour".

Do you have pets?:

I have one dog that lives with my parents in Spain.

Have you traveled? Where have you traveled to?:

I have traveled to many places in Europe, from London to Hungary, and many more. I still have some left in Europe, and one I would love to visit is Greece. I hope I get to see it this year. Also, I have never visited any country in the Americas, and it is something I dream of doing. I know it is a completely different world, and I would like to experience it as well.

What do you do for work?:

I'm a student at Sciences Po, Paris. I study Law and Translation.

Is there anything else you would like to say to students in the United States?:

Encourage them to study abroad at some point in their academic journey. I moved to a neighboring country, and it is already super different than Spain; it has opened my mind in many aspects. There are tough times, especially when getting used to a new place, without your family, friends and culture.
