It is starting to get colder here. The first few weeks that I was here in September, it was very hot. I was sweaty all the time! Thankfully, by the end of the month, it started cooling off. Now as October is drawing to an end, I have to wear lots of layers and turn on the heat in my apartment.
This week started off with hanging out with some of the other Fulbrighters (Jackie, DJ, Taylor, and Spencer) at St. Margit Island, which is a park on an island in the middle of the Danube river. The fall colors are beautiful and we just had a good time catching up. Jackie brought her dog Meeko, a mini Sheltie that is very sweet and well-trained.
Then this weekend, when I was on my way to the Lake Balaton area, there was a cat who was just hanging out inside the train station like he own the place!
