Teen Life: School, Family, Food and Dreams

[The school system] is hard to explain. It’s complicated... Do I even have a favorite class? Last year, it was like chemistry or physics."

What is your homework like?:

F: “I just have so much. You have to do exercises. Most of the time, it isn't graded. But if you don't do it, you have a punishment.”

L: “Every day, you can give them your carnet (notebook). Before we go in, we just show them. So if you don’t do your homework, they will write something your parent has to sign.”

What do you like to do after school? Do you have a favorite sport or game?:

F: “I do some sports, like going to the gym. Before going to high school, I did four years of judo and four years of jujitsu. I go out with friends, like bowling, cinema... I love it, but I don’t go often. There’s a library where they sell mangas: Tsundoku.”

L: “Sometimes, I go shopping. Here, the transport is so easy, so we can study in the [train] station. Also sometimes, I play guitar when I go home."

Who is your favorite famous person?:

F: “I'll say Emma Watson. I love Kpop groups. I love ENYHPEN.”

L: “I love Daniel Caesar.”

What kinds of music do you listen to?:

L: “R&B. I also like jazz.”

F: “Every type. I listen to K-pop, R&B, rap and more. I listen to Japanese music, Daniel Caesar, TV Girl and the Kid LAROI. My favorite song -- I listen to it like every night -- is “Nights Like This.”

What would you like to be when you grow up?:

F: “I want to be a CEO, work on computers [and] have my own company.”
