Today I visited the city of Fes, one of the oldest cities in Morocco, with my friend. I took a special kind of taxi called a grand taxi, which is a shared taxi that travels between cities and towns. Instead of taking one person, they carry several passengers who are going to the same place, kind of like a small bus.

On the way to Fes, I saw many farms with peach trees and olive trees growing in the fields. I also saw animals like sheep, donkeys and a few cows.

When we arrived, my friend and I visited the medina. A medina is an old part of a city with many small streets, shops and homes. The streets were very narrow and winding, and it felt like walking through a giant maze. We even got a little lost while exploring. While walking around, I bought souvenirs for my family, and my friend found some small trinkets that she liked.

After exploring the medina, we went to a restaurant that was hosting an open mic night.
