Found Family

Montreal has been my home for a while now! The memories and traditions I've made here with people I love, who serve as my found family, make it truly feel like home.

In Montreal, I live with my best friend Shanti and our cat Kevin, who loves to cuddle!
Shanti and I try to escape the city and hike as often as we can, and this is a hike we took last summer in the Green Mountains that run through Vermont and into Quebec, the Canadian province where Montreal is located
Shanti and I went to a cabin for Labor Day weekend, and we loved taking the rowboat and kayaks out on the lake!
A lot of the friends I made at McGill moved away when we graduated, but we have reunions when they all come back to Montreal to visit!
Montreal is named after Mount Royal, the little mountain in the middle of the city, and here's a picture taken with friends at the top!
My friend Ryan is a cook at Machiavelli, a restaurant in Montreal, so when my friends and I went for dinner there, we got a photo with our favorite chef!
Sometimes my friend Aude brings her cat Luther over to my apartment when she goes out of town, and I think he and Kevin look like brothers!
I was raised Jewish, but I like all holiday rituals, so Shanti and I (and Kevin!) always get a Christmas tree AND light the menorah for Hanukkah!
