Interview with a Madrileña

What do you like to do in your free time?:

I really like to go to concerts and the cinema when I can get to them.

What language(s) do you speak? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

I speak Spanish, a bit of English, and French. To ask "Hello, how are you?" in my language, people typically say "¿Hola, como estás?" or "¿Hola, qué tal?"

Do you have pets?:

I do not have pets. In an apartment in the city it is very hard to have them. 

Have you traveled? Where have you traveled to?:

Yes, I have traveled a lot. I have been to France, Portugal, Italy, England, and almost all of Spain.

What do you do for work?:

I do not work right now but I have been an announcer, a television and radio presenter, and a clinical psychologist. 

Is there anything else you would like to say to students in the United States?:

My experience as a host mom has been great and I plan to continue doing it. Most of my students have been fantastic!
