I also saw squirrels and the most common bird that I see is the European Robin, which also happens to be the national bird of the U.K. I see these animals more often when I head towards Queen's University (about an hour walk away from my accomodation), but especially in the Botanic Gardens (30 minute walk from me). I love walking in the Botanic Gardens and seeing the community playing football (soccer), having picnics, smelling the beautiful flowers, and seeing the squirrels and birds thrive. I also see bugs like gnats, bumble bees, and the occasional small spiders.
I also saw a cat, which I do not come across here too often. It was a cute black cat, just a few minutes away from my gym. He was adorable! I also see many people walking their dogs, all of which are so cute and sweet. I see many in the Botanic Gardens, which seems like a popular spot for dog walking.
I also traveled to London, United Kingdom, from Friday to Sunday. While I was at Highgate Cemetary, I saw a fox. It was sitting so still near the entrance of the cemetary, and I thought it was so beautiful. It was so still that I started to actually wonder if it was fake but it was not!
It would have to be a tie between seeing the fox at Highgate Cemetary and catching an incredible sunset in Kenish Town near London, right before my friend Claire and I went to see a comedy show. Both were unexpected and incredible beautiful. The fox was so close, calm, and chilling in the grassy area. While the sunset took me by surprise, especially after coming out of the underground subway. It was vibrant, as was the city we were in.
