As you go on through your life you will come up with more goals, my current one is getting a 3.9 or higher GPA before I graduate college. Sometimes this feels unachievable, yet I continue to work hard, study well, and put effort into my assignments to make this a possibility. I know you guys are just getting into high school, but keeping a mindset like this will help you stay on track and positive when it comes to completing hard achievements. Depending on the goal, it can seem harder to achieve, but what is most important is the dedication and endurance you put towards the goal that makes it the most important.
Another tip I want to give you all is that you can enjoy high school and college, while also maintaining good grades. Become involved in activities, extracurriculars, sports, and do things you have never done before! I have always been involved in quite a few activities during my student career, like sports, music activities, and clubs. This allowed me to meet new people, especially when attending a high school none of my friends were attending. I promise it is possible to be busy with after-school activities and still maintain good grades, but it takes discipline and time-management. Those activities, friends, and memories you make will stay with you throughout your life, and shapes who you will become.
If you take anything out of our online-travel to Northern Ireland and around Europe, I hope it is that you all have a possibility of studying abroad. Like I have said before, I never thought this was possible when I was in 8th grade and I wish someone would have come to my class and shared their journey.
