Hi, everyone!

I can hardly believe it's time to say goodbye. When I first arrived in Berlin, I didn't know what to expect - a new school, a new language and a new life. Now, after months of adventures, I'm sitting here trying to find the right words to close this chapter.

One of the most special parts of my time in Berlin has been my internship with an organization called PKRK — Panzerkreuzer Rotkäppchen, which translates to “Battleship Little Red Riding Hood”! Working there taught me so much about what it looks like to build a community in a place that isn't your home yet. I’m so grateful to have experienced German work culture and learned how theater productions operate during this internship.

Berlin is the perfect city for exploring. When the weather was nice, I biked everywhere: through narrow cobblestone streets and past parks full of people picnicking and playing. Taking public transport [the U-Bahn and the S-Bahn] felt like an adventure at first, but it taught me so much about the city's geography. I can confidently say that I know my way around Berlin - no Google Maps necessary! I want you to know that getting around a big city on your own is something YOU can do, even if it seems scary at first.
