Hawaii was one of my favorite places because it was my first time experiencing a tropical island. I have also traveled to Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia to visit family.
I work in operations for Uber in Berlin. I am part of the marketplace team, which works on making sure there are enough Uber cars and drivers available. We think about how to bring more cars onto the road, how to get more people to use Uber and how to help Uber grow in Germany.
I think the United States is an amazing country, just like Germany is an amazing country. My advice to students is to believe in themselves and take chances. If you want to become a firefighter, a doctor or anything else, you should believe that it is possible. I am the first person in my family to go to university and graduate. My parents came from small places in Russia and Kyrgyzstan, and I was lucky to be born in Germany, where I had many opportunities. No matter where your family is from, you should believe in yourself, work hard and go after what you want.
