Adieu (Farewell)

Every morning, I cannot start my day without a cup of coffee or tea, and I cannot leave my room until I have had something for breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day! My favorite breakfast is oatmeal. During the week, I keep busy with my classes, work, and internship, so on the weekends I try to have a day to relax and a day to explore Paris with friends. I am not a morning person, so I do enjoy sleeping in on the weekend. However, Paris is very beautiful in the morning— well, it is beautiful any time of day, but I do like to get up earlier in the morning so I can walk around before everyone else is out and about. As I showed you during our first video chat, I live in the 13th arrondissement in the NYU residential hall. I live in a studio apartment in the residence with a kitchen and bathroom. I decorated my room with post cards, photos, and lights to make it more homey.

My dad will be visiting me in March and it will be his first time in Europe! My aunts will also be coming to see me in May as well. During the holidays, I gave everyone in my family an Eiffel Tower keychain so they could think of me while I am abroad.

During my time here in Europe, I have traveled to Munich, Germany; Salzburg, Austria; London, United Kingdom; Pays Basque, France; Deauville, France, and this past weekend I went to Brussels, Belgium! I have a trip planned to Berlin, Germany for the last weekend of February with my friend Audrey who speaks German. I hope to go to Dublin, Ireland with my dad when he is here in March.

My advice to each of you is that the world is at your finger tips. Use apps like Duolingo to start learning new languages.
