I will be working in a scientific laboratory, so I need to wear long pants every day. And because I’ll be near the big drill on the ship, I need to have steel-toed boots for protection. I seriously thought about wearing my steel-toed boots on my plane ride to Spain so I didn't have to stuff them in my bag!
I also won’t be able to stream movies from Netflix or YouTube. There is internet on the boat, but it’s not quite fast enough for everyone on board to watch TV when they want to relax. I had to think very hard about which books to pack and what movies to download ahead of time.
Most importantly, there isn’t candy or chocolate on board the ship! I’m bringing two pounds of Reese’s and Kit Kats with me, as well as a couple of my favorite fancy chocolate bars. Do you think I packed enough chocolate for two months? What candy or snacks would you bring with you?
