Water Do You Mean It's Not Safe to Drink?

Is this need being met? How?:

Currently, many people in Soc Trang and throughout Vietnam have access to drinking water in the forms of water filters, treated water that is delivered to homes, schools and businesses and bottled water that is available in stores, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. However, aside from some areas in big cities in Vietnam, water from sinks, showers, hoses and wells is not safe for drinking. Water pollution is making matters worse. If more serious actions aren't taken to reduce the amount of waste that enters water systems in Vietnam, then more dangerous problems will likely occur. There are some awesome people like trash collectors and scavengers who are actually helping reduce waste by gathering, selling and even recycling it. Other folks too are finding ways to reduce plastic waste by using leaves instead of plastic bags to wrap food and products like straws made from rice.

What do you think about all of this? Is water pollution a problem in your communities? Do you have any ideas for how people can reduce waste and protect the environment in Soc Trang and throughout Vietnam? If you do, I'd love to hear them!
