Her favorite food is maklube, a traditional Middle Eastern dish made with rice, meat (usually chicken or lamb) and vegetables. The ingredients are cooked together in one pot, and when it’s served, the pot is flipped upside down, creating a beautiful layered presentation. The name maklube means "upside down" in Arabic, reflecting this unique way of serving the dish.
At school, Nazlı speaks both Turkish and English. In Arabic, she would say "Marhaba" (مرحبا) to greet someone, which is very similar to the Turkish greeting "Merhaba."
Some common kids' names at Nazlı's school include Azra, Nur, Beyza, Miray and Nazlı.
Nazlı studies English Language and Literature (ELL) at school. Her favorite subject is writing because she enjoys expressing herself. However, she finds her writing teacher to be challenging. Speaking, reading and grammar are relatively easy for her.
Nazlı's homework mainly consists of English grammar, which she doesn't enjoy very much. However, she likes her writing homework and tries to practice speaking outside of class to improve her skills.
