It is so popular and prestigious in Uganda that the word "university" is referred to the locals as makerere. For example, they refer to Mbarara University as the makerere of Mbarara.
This week, I have just been reading some news and science articles. I like to keep up with the news back home in the U.S. as well as news in Uganda. I also read scientific articles to help in my research.
I didn’t play any games/sports this week because I had a busy schedule. However, I go for a run every evening.
I will be visiting Ghana for the Christmas holiday! While in Kampala, I visited the Ghana consulate to get a visa, so I am all set for the trip. I am so excited!
