Meet Anu!

Introduction:

Hello, my name is Anubekhi. I am in the third grade at the 111th Secondary School in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. My hobbies include drawing and Mongolian traditional dance. 

What do you eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner?:

For breakfast, I eat milk and rice. For lunch, I eat traditional doughnuts, I really like bread. For dinner, I eat noodles or buuz (Mongolian dumplings). 

What is your house like?:

I live in an apartment. 

What chores do you have at home?:

I sweep, mop, wash dishes and peel potatoes. 

What jobs do your parents have?:

My mom works with NGOs, which are called Non-Governmental Organizations. These groups help people by giving aid or trying to make change. One example of an NGO is the Red Cross, which helps with medical care. My dad is an engineer.

What time does school start, and what time do you go home?:

Since I am in the third grade, my school day begins at 1:00 P.M. and ends at 6:00 P.M. 

How do you get to school? Are you allowed to go to school by yourself?:

I walk 20 minutes to get to my school. I am never allowed to go to school by myself! Traffic is bad here.
