Climate and Agriculture in Palestine

In the Jordan Valley area, which is where Jericho is situated and where it is very hot and a variety of different crops grow, farmers often use recycled freshwater for crops. This is something that is particularly helpful during times of drought. Additionally, farmers in Jericho also utilize an ancient community aqueduct system based off of the principles of gravity that was built during the era of the Roman empire and still operates today to irrigate their crops.
