A Noodle Adventure in Taiwan

How did I feel when I tried it?:

I felt very happy (我很高興, wǒ hěn gāoxìng)!

I have never tried beef noodles in America, so it was a great experience to try them in Taiwan. The smell of broth filled the air, and before I tasted it, I could tell it was going to be something special. The soup was rich and comforting, and the beef was so soft that it felt like it was melting in my mouth.

By the end of the meal, my bowl was wiped clean. I felt very satisfied and happy with the meal that I had eaten. After that first bowl, I truly understood why beef noodles are so popular here.

How is the food prepared?:

Beef noodles are made from slowly cooked beef, flavorful broth, and fresh noodles. First, they cook pieces of beef with soy sauce, garlic, ginger, onions, and special spices until it is soft and full of flavor. Next, the noodles are boiled until they are chewy and placed into a big bowl. The cook will pour the hot broth and beef on top of the noodles. After that, they will add green onions, vegetables, and if you like spicy food, they might add some chili oil! When it is done being prepared, you are left with a bowl that is warm, rich, and delicious. Every shop makes it a little differently, so it is fun to taste and see which one is your favorite!
