






I've been listening to a few of her songs this week; like a lot of American music, many of her songs are about love or breakups! One of the only differences that I can see is that she sometimes slips from English into her regional language (Fante) mid-song.
It was very exciting to fly again! I've always been a fan of airports and airplanes, and I had forgotten my affinity for that method of travel during several landlocked months in Ghana.
Because this past weekend saw many American politicians announcing runs in next year's election's, I've started a personal project of hearing what the new candidates have to say. This week, I'm reading Pete Buttigieg's book called Shortest Way Home.
The most sport I engaged in this week was a lot of walking! Most of my time has been eaten up by traveling, which hasn't left a lot of time for games or sports.
It's unusual to take time off from school mid-semester in Ghana! I'm only doing so because of extraordinary circumstances. Luckily, my professors have been understanding and I'll be back on the African continent next week!
