Business Differences, Cultural Differences, and Day to Day Items

I am also very short, or 4 ft 11 inches, which is normal for Southeast Asian females. However, in Taiwan, almost no one comes up to me to ask. This is likely because Taiwan has many Southeast Asian immigrants, and so locals recognize me as simply looking Southeast Asian.

Day to Day Items

My lifestyle is quite laid back in Taiwan, so I do not need many things. I have my classes' books and materials, including pens, highlighters, papers, etc. in my cubicle and staff office. I also have a school computer. Other than this, I bring my laptop with me to do work to places such as coffee shops. I almost always use chopsticks to eat, and these are readily available at almost any restaurant, cafe, small shop, etc. I also regularly eat Lao Gan Ma spicy chili crisp, which is an Asian spicy sauce that is also crunchy. It is very flavorful and wonderful, and I like to add it to my soups, noodles, and dumplings. I like having less "things" in my life in Taiwan, because I am able to enjoy other things like the beauty of temples and how cute a local shaved ice shop's pet turtles are.
