Traveling in Cambodia often takes time. Roads can be rough, and trips are longer than they might look on a map. These journeys have helped me see the diversity of Cambodia and better understand how rural and urban life connect across the country.
I am a Peace Corps Volunteer and a primary school English teacher. I teach students in fourth, fifth and sixth grades and help them build confidence in using English. My work involves planning lessons, teaching classes, and working alongside Cambodian teachers. Education is highly valued, and students work hard despite limited resources. Teaching here has been both challenging and rewarding. It allows me to build relationships with students and learn from them as much as they learn from me.
The world is full of opportunities. Be courageous enough to take a leap of faith because you never know where you could end up!
