The weather in Cambodia is similiar to Thailand -- hot, humid, with little to no breeze. In Siam Reap, because we were closer to waterways, the humdity felt like pricks of heat on our skin. We sweated and sweated, even with cloudy skies.
This week, I saw so many kinds of animals that made life so exciting. In Siam Reap, we visited a temple that had silly, playful monkeys. We saw a baby monkey eating from its mother, and we saw monkeys enjoying fruit from the trees. During a temple visit, we saw this fluffy cream-white husky with one eye blue and the other eye green. Then, we visited a crocodile farm where over 15 crocodiles lived together in a small enclosure. They were completely still with their jaws open as if they were ready to eat ANYTHING. Although it was scary, it was my first time seeing that in real life and it made me appreciate all the different kinds of beauty in our lives.
