I got to see two types in person: I hope you enjoy those pictures. Also, I got to see a few pumas, but 'Pumita' was the only one who was open to being photographed. We spent a good two hours there, and honestly, I would highly recommend going!
Next, we went to go get lunch, WITH AN AMAZING VIEW! We had lunch (did I mention this was FREE) at Hito Tres Fronteras (Three Borders Milestone). Fun fact: Iguazú borders Brazil and Paraguay. Iguazú Falls is in two countries, Brazil (only a small portion of the park is on this side) and Argentina (which is home to the majority of the park and the waterfalls themselves). We had our lunch, then had the opportunity to shop and get some souvenirs from some local vendors, which is where I got a nice dress that I used for the second day of the trip. After that, we returned to the hotel, checked in and had a few hours to rest. I took a well-deserved nap, then went to dinner, and that was day one of this trip.
Day two was a jam-packed day, which was when we went to see the falls! After getting on a short train ride inside the national park, we started on our journey down the trails. There are three main trails in the national park, but we only went on the Upper and Lower Circuit, (on top and below the waterfall), since the Devil's Throat Trail was closed. We still had an amazing time, getting to see the waterfalls! I truly felt amazed and stunned seeing the waterfalls in person, realizing why it is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. I took several photos, how could I not? Throughout the journey, I got to see some monkeys (here is one that allowed people to take selfies with it before starting the hike), coatíes and several carnivorous ants (they do exist)!
