Interview with a local student!

My neighbourhood has changed a lot over the years with more people moving in and it is not as quiet as it used to be.

What chores do you have at home?:

My house duties usually include cooking, doing my laundry, turning off the gas pipes when we're not using them, and cleaning my assigned part of the house. I also like to practice self-discipline for my well-being, such as reading, exercising, working on personal projects, overcoming fears, and, of course, doing my homework!

What jobs do your parents have?:

My dad is now retired, but he used to work for a bank, and my mom has her poultry farm.

What time does school start, and what time do you go home?:

As a university student, my days start at various hours depending on when I have class that day. However, I usually go back home at around 6 PM.

How do you get to school? Are you allowed to go to school by yourself?:

I go to class alone, walking or taking the bus if I'm running late or it's raining. Sometimes, if I am up for it, I go to class on my bicycle!

Where do you eat lunch? What is your favorite food?:

I usually eat lunch at home. I don't have a stone-carved favourite food as I like various things, but I do not like fish or bananas!

What language do you speak at school? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

We speak Spanish here, and we say ¡Hola!" to greet people.
