Dear students,

It's hard to believe that our time together is coming to an end! While I'm not leaving Germany just yet, this marks the end of the part of my journey that I have been sharing with you. It's been such a meaningful experience to bring you along with me, and I am so grateful for your curiosity, your questions and your openness to learning about life here in Germany.

When I first arrived in Munich, everything felt new. The language, the routines, even small things like taking public transportation or ordering food required attention and effort. Over time, those unfamiliar moments became parts of everyday life. What once felt different now feels natural, and Munich has started to feel like ein Zuhause (a home).

One of the most important things I have learned is that living abroad is not only about seeing famous places or traveling to new cities, like one would as a tourist. Rather, it's more about learning how people live day to day, noticing small differences and realizing how much we all have in common.
