Around the Town

The short name for my college is "MUIC." When I used a taxi to get there, the driver only understood what I meant when I said "IC."

Then we have the bus. The bus can be confusing because you have to press the button on the top of the bus when your stop is getting close. I did not know the area, so when I got close to my stop, I did not know to press the button. You have to know the area when you are using the public bus! Luckily, someone else was getting off at my stop as well so I did not miss it!

On the other hand, the grab is the most convenient form of transportation. It is very simple! All you have to do is put in a location and the driver picks you up and drops you off. I did not have any problems using grab!

Is this way of getting around connected to the culture and environment, How?:

In all of the transportation methods, a picture of the King is present. The King is either on the dashboard, the ceiling or the door of the vehicles. The King is basically the face of the Thai people. That is the only connection to Thai culture that I have found so far.
