This week, I traveled to a different district called Liwan where the same families have lived for hundreds or thousands of years. Even though I was in the same city, it felt like I was suddenly in a very different place.
We are just starting out in Guangzhou!
China has a very new and large public transit system. This means there are sparkling clean subways, buses, and public bicycles that you can rent with your phone. I travel this way because I do not have a driver's license in China and public transportation is faster anyway!
Liwan was the most interesting place!
Not much travel news this time. My research keeps me busy in Guangzhou!
