It's time that I say "Zai Jian" (goodbye in Chinese). This makes me feel so sad, because I really enjoy writing for you all, but I hope that reading my stories has made you more curious about China, a country with an ancient history that is now populated by more people than anywhere else on earth. Actually, you know what's funny? Most Chinese people say "bye bye" now when they leave each other. With your help, maybe American and Chinese people will work even more closely together in the future and learn even more from each other.

This trip to south China has taught me a lot. I have learned how Chinese people use bullet trains and a system of shared bicycles to travel around. I also learned that I can try new, strange foods sometimes and that I might be surprise by how delicious they are. Lastly, I learned how important family and community are to both kids and grownups in China today.

China has a fascinating culture that dates back many centuries, and its people are very proud to be Chinese. Just like America, there are a lot of beautiful, green places far out in the wilderness of China, but China is also filled with modern cities, many of which are even bigger than New York City.
