Apparently the hail that we got a couple days ago in Bogotá was incredibly rare. One of my roomates, who is in her late 20s and has lived in Bogotá all her life, told me that she had only seen it happen once before! I couldn't believe that. How strange, lucky, or both it is for me to be in this city for such a bizarre nature event!
