The weather this week has been unpredictable. It switches between being warm and sunny and windy and rainy, often on the same day. It is hard to decide what to wear because sometimes shorts are appropriate, but other times I need a coat, gloves and umbrella.
This week, I saw crows, magpies, seagulls, a swan and squirrels on campus as well as crows, seagulls, numerous dogs, small fish and a crab on the Exmouth beach which is a 30-minute train ride from Exeter.
The coolest thing I saw in nature this week was the Jurassic Coast in Exmouth, England. The sand there is full of pebbles and seashells. Large, red clay rocks jut out of the water.
Exeter is a beautiful city. While walking around campus, I have found many paths framed by wildflowers, blackberries and various trees. I even stumbled upon a hidden pond with a swan one day.
