Oishii Food!

There is a special technique to rolling the sushi with a sushi mat to make sure it's rolled the perfect amount and the filling isn't spilling out that takes somet time to learn, but it would be possible for you to make sushi at home with just a few utensils!

Is this food connected to the local environment? How?:

I briefly mentioned the high quality of food in Japan. Since Japan is an island surrounded by bodies of water rich in seafood, it is normal to find fresher seafood here than other places. Rice is also a staple food in Japan. If one travels through cities by train, it is possible to see the vast number of rice fields in Japan all over the countryside. Overlooking a landscape scattered with rice fields while traveling on a train was actually one of my favorite moments throughout my travels in Japan so far. So much simplicity all around, yet so much beauty, too.
