The weather in Logroño has been a little bit chilly this week. Although, I am from Chicago and the winters are even colder there! To me, this weather is not too cold. However, many people here are bundled up in their winter coats and winter hats.
Since Logroño is a city, I typically do not see too many wild animals. The most common type of animal that I see are dogs. Many people in Logroño own dogs and they take their dogs for walks, just like we do in the United States!
Earlier this year, I did some hiking on the Camino de Santiago. This is a path across all of Northern Spain that many people walk on for religious purposes. Logroño is a stop on the "Camino", where hikers are able to rest for a little bit. During my hike, which was about 6 miles, I saw lots of beautiful flowers and lots of grapes growing! I even ate some of the grapes off the vine. Yum!
