Logroño is located in the region of Spain called La Rioja. There are many mountains in this region and across Northen Spain. However, Logroño is located in a valley between mountains, therefore, it does not snow often here. If you drive or take a bus to a town that is in the mountains about 20 minutes away, they might have several inches of snow, even when Logroño has none!
