The weather this week has been the coldest so far. Winter is arriving in Reims, and this means that stronger winds, rain and cloudy days are going to become more frequent. The weather has been fluctuating between 30 degrees and 40 degrees Farenheit.
This week I saw a Mallard duck swiming in the canal of Riems. I'm sure you've seen this duck. The males have brownish bodies, a white collar and a green head. They are all around the world, from Asia to the Americas.
I also saw a very cool dog with spots called a Dalmatian.
The coolest thing I saw in nature this week was the stars reflected on the canal at night. If the water is still, and there are no clouds in the sky, it is possible to see white light reflected on the water. Dispersed and twinkling, the stars can be a beautiful sight.
