Even though it is fall in the United States, it is still very hot here! Every day, it is very warm. In the afternoon, it is stormy for about an hour.
This week I saw many cats and dogs! In Tha Sala, many people also own cows, but they look different than cows you usually see in the U.S. Cows in Thailand usually have long horns and one or two humps. There are also many chickens that walk around the streets, and the walls of my apartment have geckos!
My new town is right next to the beach! There are long beautiful beaches with rocks. Nakhon Si Thammarat is not a very popular tourist attraction, so the beaches have few people on them.
Tha Sala has much better air quality than Bangkok! My last few days in Bangkok had horrible air quality, and I had to wear a mask every time I went outside. In Tha Sala, the air is clean and beautiful.
