So the Adventure Continues...

The flax fishnet is a tool that Maori used to make when collecting paua shells. One aspect of New Zealand culture I want to take back home with me is the cafe culture! Drinking hot drinks served as a morning and afternoon tea time to take a break and relax is the best invention ever! I often get caught in a busy lifestyle where I don't take time to pause in this way, so bringing this aspect back will remind me to stop and cherish the small moments of each and every day.

I hope you have enjoyed learning about me through my travels. Before heading home, I am going to see the Northland area in New Zealand. I am planning on kayaking, caving and hiking all the way to the northernmost point in New Zealand - Cape Reinga and 90-mile beach. I recently learned that the phrase Kia Ora not only is used as a greeting for "hello", but it is also used as a thank you and goodbye. So Kia Ora to you all.  Where will you go when you travel? What animals do you want to see? What food would you like to try? I can't wait until your adventure begins!
