When the fog lifts, and if the air is cold enough, all the moisture from the fog freezes on the trees, bushes, and any leaves that are still surviving the cold. This makes it look like everything has been frosted with a bunch of sparkling diamonds! Its is really a beautiful sight to see.
Watching nature adapt to the freezing temperatures here is really amazing. When it is really cold, you dont see many animals (besides the crows). But, as soon as it starts to warm up, they all come out of their warm hiding places to collect food and enjoy the sunshine!
