What main languages are spoken here?:

The main language spoken in South Korea is Korean. However, during my time in Seoul so far, I've realized that I am able to still get around with limited Korean knowledge. This is because many of the signs and transportation systems in Seoul include English. Additionally, there are many Koreans who are able to understand English even if they do not speak it fluently. Other than Korean and English, Mandarin and Japanese are also used in the community.

How much does a bottle of water cost?:

I always carry a reusable bottle with me, so I rarely buy or use a bottle of water. However, there was one day when I drank all my water and couldn't find an area to get a refill, so I was on the look out for a bottle of water. After much searching, I noticed the prices of water bottles can vary depending on the size and brand. I decided to go for the cheapest option which was a water bottle the size of about 2L for 650 won, just $.57 in USD!

What was the best meal this week?:
