It is a Korean dish that has white rice in the middle of the bowl, surrounded by vegetables like carrots, bean sprouts, cucumbers, mushrooms, fernbrake, spinach and dried seaweed—all topped with a sunny side up egg and gochujang (red pepper) paste. Since this dish is served with ingredients surrounded by rice, the fun part was mixing everything together. Not only was this dish deliciously healthy but it was also affordable for 6,500 won (less than $6 USD)!

What music did I listen to this week?:

It is the week before midterms, so I have been preparing for my exams. In order to concentrate, I would sometimes play piano music in the background. However, when I took mini breaks in between studying, I jammed to a variety of music including Winner's "Millions", N. Flying's "Rooftop", Park Bom's "Spring", Kassy's "Listen to this Song", Jonas Brothers' "Cool" and many others.

What activity was the most fun this week?:

I am currently taking a beginner's Korean language class, and our Korean teacher made us play a game that was similar to charades. We first had to get into groups of five. Then when we stood at the front of the class and got in one single file, facing one way. The first person grabbed a paper from a hat, translated the Korean word and prepared to act out the word. When the first person was ready, he or she tapped the next person, showing that person the action without speaking and continued with this action until we got to the last person. The last person must be able to guess the word by seeing the action being shown to him or her. The fastest group to complete all five words was considered the winner.
