This week, I stayed within 12 kilometers of my house, exploring nearby ruins and museums.
Not including the small trips around my hometown, I have traveled about 2,723 miles on this journey. I started in Chicago, made my way to Mexico City, then to Puebla, then to Guanajuato and back to Puebla.
This week, I got around by walking, taking the bus and taking Ubers. Uber is really cheap here in Mexico. A half-hour ride will only cost you about seven or eight US dollars, so it is worth it when you have to get someplace far away or travel late at night. A bus ride of the same distance could take over two hours!
The most interesting place I visited this week was the Regional Museum of Cholula, which talks about the history of the area in which I live from Precolombian times through present day.
